A series that reimagines traditional Japanese craft (kumihimo braiding) as a fashion item.

Kumihimo has a long history and is a quintessential traditional Japanese craft passed down since the Nara period. Its methods of expression and application have evolved throughout history.

At CACTA, we have adapted it into a neck strap that can be used to attach items such as wallets or coin cases, adding a playful touch that breaks away from traditional, classical concepts.
